ABOUT US
Putnam Recreation Programs and Habilitation is a not-for-profit, parent founded, organization dedicated to providing high quality recreational opportunities for children and adults with special needs who reside in Putnam County.
PRPH serves a variety of youth and adults with developmental disabilities.
Regular programs include:

PRPH is currently funded by grants from the NYS Office for Persons with Developmental Disabilities – Family Support Services, Town Recreation Departments, Guideposts, and donations through United Way of Westchester/Putnam.
ELIGIBILITY
PRPH welcomes all individuals who have developmental disabilities. Participants must have either a qualifying diagnosis of mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, neurological impairment, autism, or a closely related condition OR have impairment of intellectual functioning (FSIQ < 70) or functional limitations with a substantial handicap. PRPH reserves the right to remove a participant from a program due to a participant's behavior.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
There are many ways to become involved with PRPH. You can volunteer to help out at any of our regular programs, serve on a committee for putting together a special event, or lend your leadership to the Board of Directors. Students 14 and older will find PRPH a worthwhile way to accomplish their community service hours. Call the office at 845.621.5594 to explore this opportunity.
PRPH is a 501(c)3 not-for–profit organization. 100% of your donation will be used to benefit programs and participants. No amount of your donation will go towards development costs. PRPH is registered with the Attorney General Charities Bureau of New York - Federal Tax Identification # 13-3084676
