Putnam Recreation Programs and Habilitation is a not-for-profit, parent founded, organization dedicated to providing high quality recreational opportunities for children and adults with special needs who reside in Putnam County.
PRPH serves a variety of youth and adults with developmental disabilities.

Summer Camp opportunities.
PRPH is currently funded by grants from the NYS Office for Persons with Developmental Disabilities – Family Support Services, Town Recreation Departments, Guideposts, and donations through United Way of Westchester/Putnam.
PRPH welcomes all individuals who have developmental disabilities. Participants must have either a qualifying diagnosis of mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, neurological impairment, autism, or a closely related condition OR have impairment of intellectual functioning (FSIQ < 70) or functional limitations with a substantial handicap. PRPH reserves the right to remove a participant from a program due to a participant's behavior.

There are many ways to become involved with PRPH. You can volunteer to help out at any of our regular programs, serve on a committee for putting together a special event, or lend your leadership to the Board of Directors.
