The Giving Tag Program is an ongoing opportunity for nonprofits to raise funds at any time throughout the year. Supporters can go to any Stop & Shop, buy the Community Bag and follow the instructions on the Giving Tag to direct a $1 donation to an organization of their choice. The Community Bag Program is an opportunity for non-profits who are selected on a monthly basis at every Stop & Shop location. The selected non-profit in the Community Bag Program is the "default beneficiary" who will receive any donations that are not otherwise directed by the Giving Tag.
